March Pump's industrial TE-5.5K-MD is an American seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pump ideal for applications such as chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, and scrubber systems. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 30 gallons per minute at 11 feet, and its maximum head is 41 Feet (or around 18PSI). The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of glass filled Kynar (PVDF), Viton, and Ceramic. The inlet connection is 1 inch female pipe thread, and the outlet is 3/4 inch male pipe thread.
- O-Ring: Viton, Teflon encapsulated Viton, or Ethylene Propylene
- Front Thrust Washer: Ceramic or Hastelloy
- Shaft: Ceramic or Hastelloy
- Imp. Bushing: Carbon, Ceramic, Mica Teflon, or Ryton/Teflon/Carbon
Applications for the TE-5.5K-MD Magnetic Drive Pump include chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, refrigerators, scrubber systems, detergent mixers, computer cooling, carbon arc furnace cooling, silver recovery systems, and marine air conditioners.
The TE-5.5K-MD has pumped Acetic Acid, Citric Acid, Ethylene Glycol, Formaldehyde, Hydrochloric Acid (Muriatic), Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfuric Acid, Fresh Water, Salt Water, DI Water, and many more chemicals.. The TE-5.5K-MD may have been modified to handle these chemicals. Please contact March Pump to review your application before using the TE-5.5K-MD for any of the above listed chemicals.
